John founded SMBS in 2005 with the goal of meeting the practice management needs of the outpatient rehabilitation practice. With confirmed degrees from Ithaca College, Queens College and Stony Brook University, and experiences in administrative leadership, education, marketing and fiscal management, John has assembled a team of professionals with the experience and dedication our clients require to meet their billing and practice management needs. As practice management partners, the team at SMBS works with our clients providing the leadership and support needed to navigate the ever-changing landscape of outpatient rehabilitation private practices.
Diane, Account Support
Diane is an experienced executive serving the needs of clients in the fields of business administration and education. At SMBS, Diane works to ensure your claims are paid according to industry standards making certain all claims are adjudicated and paid in a timely and accurate manner according to the expectations of each commercial, worker's compensation, no-fault, and Medicare payer.
Doreen, Senior Account Manager
Having been with SMBS since its inception in 2005, Doreen has over 30 years of experience as a medical billing professional for outpatient rehabilitation physical therapy clinics. A a leader in the Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic at Southside Hospital, Bay Shore NY, Doreen has acquired the experience in handling the insurance billing, coding, as well as, the front desk and back office protocols of successful private practices. Doreen works with our clients office staff personnel to ensure effective communication, including diagnosis coding, and the accuracy of patient demographic data in support of positive patient experiences and the achievement of your practice goals.
Debi, Data Entry
Debi is an experienced medical professional effectively processing insurance claims in the areas of physical therapy, dental and pharmacy billing. With SMBS, Debi reviews patient encounter data, creates billable claims, and ensures your patient accounts are accurate and timely.
